Pollo is the school's famous rubber chicken. Teacher tells students the goal of how high the class count will be for the day. Pollo then points to the teacher, who starts with the first number. Usuall it is zero, but you can start with any number you choose. Pollo then points with its beak to a student at random. That student is to say the next number. Counting by ones, twos, threes, fives, tens or..... whatever was agreed upon before. Do not point to the students in a row, since it is necessary to keep all students on their toes, since they won't know if they are next.
Students are given a few seconds to think if they need to before answering, before Pollo gets impatient and starts shaking its heads slowly . When Pollo shakes its head faster and faster, time is up and the class has to start from zero again. Another rule to tell the student's as well, is that Pollo does not accept whispers or answers from
